The Traditional Latin Mass at Queen of Peace Parish in Patton, PA is celebrated every Sunday at 11 AM and Holy Days at 7 PM. (High Masses 1st and 3rd Sundays. The church breakfast is held on 1st Sundays from 7 AM to 1 PM.) It is celebrated in complete accordance with the directives issued by Pope Benedict XVI on July 7, 2007 in the document Summorum Pontificum, and with the official support of the Diocese of Altoona Johnstown and St. Vincent's Archabbey in Latrobe PA.
On Sunday, September 14, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, a Traditional Latin Mass was celebrated at Queen of Peace Church in Patton in honor of the 1-year anniversary of the institution of Summorum Pontificum. The High Mass was celebrated in solemn form, with full schola chanting the prayers and the celebrant assisted by Master of Ceremonies, thurifer, acolytes, and torchbearers.
Mass was followed by Benediction and the special Benedictine blessing of St. Maurus.
